The Seemingly Easisest Job in Sports

It is the easiest job in football. Maybe in life.

"I work about four minutes a year," says Jennings. "The rest of the time I'm trying to have as good a time as possible."

Here's the story of Brian Jennings, the long snapper for the Forty-niners. The average salary for a long snapper is about $650,000 per year.

A few years back an Aussie by the name of Darren Bennett switched from playing Australian football to punting for the San Deigo chargers. (the guy could kick a football a long, long way). He went from earning about 150K a year for 120 minutes a week on the field playing a full contact sport with no protective gear, to earning at least half a million for about 30 seconds a week on the field.
